
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Blood and Laboratory Operations
Betsy McQuail is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Blood and Laboratory Operations at New York Blood Center. With over 30 years of experience in blood center operations, strategic planning, quality, production planning/inventory management, and information technology, Betsy is a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for planning, leading, and executing corporate strategy and direction. She has direct P&L responsibility for the Operations and Manufacturing business unit, including all donor marketing, recruitment, collections, laboratories, distribution, logistics, and computer applications that support Operations and Manufacturing, including eProgesa, Hemasphere, DRM (Donor Relationship Management) and BOSS (Blood Operations Support System) systems. Her responsibilities also include recovered plasma sales, contracts, and relationships and oversight of process improvement and SOPs, incident reporting, and product licensure.
Betsy is a graduate of George Mason University with a B.S. in Industrial Psychology.
