On January 30 at White Eagle Hall in Kingston, NY, the Mattice family hosted their 16th annual blood drive in memory of their daughter, Hope, in partnership with New York Blood Center (NYBC). Each year, the family transforms the drive into a birthday-themed celebration, welcoming friends and neighbors to honor Hope’s life while helping save lives across their community.

The Mattice family opens the drive, assists with setup, provides lunch for NYBC staff, and reflects on the thousands of lives saved through the blood drives held in Hope’s honor.

The drive yielded 37 pints of blood and red cells collected. Hope would have been 37 this year.

Thank you to everyone who made this successful blood drive in honor of Hope possible!
