On February 19, NYBC teams provided top-notch service to the Nicpon family at the annual MN2 blood drive held in memory of their daughter, Madie.

The Madie Nicpon 2-Gether Foundation was established in memory of Madie Nicpon. Madie passed away suddenly on October 17, 2021, leaving her family and her community in a state of shock. The outpouring of support was overwhelming and generous, a testament to the person Madie was. Her passion was helping others while forming connections and relationships. She embraced organ/blood donation as a unique way to help and connect.

To honor Madie, her parents, Chris and Kathy Nicpon, organize this drive each year, and this year, they were thrilled to welcome 91 presenting donors to Suffern High School. The MN2-gether blood drive collected 95 pints in total, including 18 red cells and one plasma donation.

Thank you to everyone involved in making this blood drive a success. We appreciate your dedication to our lifesaving mission!
