Nicole Pineault, Executive Director of Blood Operations at Rhode Island Blood Center (RIBC), has been appointed President of the Association for Blood Donor Professionals (ADRP)

ADRP is a member-driven association led by an international team of industry experts dedicated to making blood donation a priority in every community around the world. 

Nicole has served ADRP as an advisory board member in addition to the role of secretary on the Executive Committee. She has also been a part of several ADRP committees over the years.

Together, we can continue to make a profound impact on the lives of those who depend on our efforts. I am enthusiastic about the future and the opportunities that lie ahead.”

Nicole has worked at RIBC for over 19 years, specializing in donor recruitment. Her roles have included Marketing Assistant, Account Manager, Marrow Donor Recruiter, Recruitment Supervisor for RIBC’s National Marrow Donor Program, and Mobile Blood Drive Recruitment Manager. She was promoted to Director of Donor Resources in 2015 and became the Director of RIBC’s National Marrow Donor Program in 2018. Nicole received the ADRP Rolf Kovenetsky Recruitment Leader of the Year Award in 2019. In 2024, she was promoted to Executive Director of Blood Operations.

RIBC is part of New York Blood Center Enterprises (NYBCe), which spans 17+ states and delivers one million blood products to 400+ U.S. hospitals annually.
