There was double the reason to celebrate at the Scotch Plains Donor Center as regular platelet donor Stephen DeLuca marked two special milestones during his latest visit.
Stephen celebrated his birthday while also reaching his 100th lifetime donation, a remarkable achievement made possible through years of dedication to helping patients in need. Donor specialists surprised Stephen with a celebration at his donation appointment.
Stephen has been “a dedicated and committed donor for some time now,” said Bonaventure Durugo, Team Leader, Nursing Administration at New Jersey Blood Services.
