Larry L. Luchsinger, PhD, Head of the Lindsley F. Kimball Research Institute Laboratory of Stem Cell Regenerative Research and Director of the NYBC iPSC Program, recently received an American Association of Blood Bank’s National Blood Foundation (NBF) Scientific Research Grant. The NBF serves the fields of transfusion medicine and cellular therapies through grant making, educational offerings, industry leadership engagement, and recognition and awards grants for research in blood banking, transfusion medicine, cellular therapies, and patient blood management. Since its founding, the NBF has awarded more than $10 million to early-career investigators through its Scientific Research Grants Program.
