Part of New York Blood Center Enterprises’ (NYBCe) lifesaving mission is to train the next generation of professionals in hematology, transfusion medicine, blood banking, and cellular therapy.

We are proud to provide students and professionals with access to a variety of resources that can help them further their knowledge and advance the scientific landscape.

Here are just a few ways you can support our Education Resources offerings.

How to Support & Engage With NYBCe’s Educational Opportunities

1. Attend Educational Programs

If you are in the fields of transfusion medicine or blood banking, then we encourage you to attend our educational programs yourself.

We work hard to attract some of the best and brightest minds to our lectures and programs, such as the Essentials of Transfusion Medicine Webinar Series. Although we hold many live events, we also make lectures available on-demand.

2. Provide Feedback

We’re always looking for ways to improve our educational opportunities. If you’ve recently attended one of our programs, please share your feedback with us. We would love to know what you liked, what you didn’t like, and what improvements you would like to see in future programs.

In addition, any comments or suggestions regarding the educational resources provided by NYBCe can be directed to [email protected].

3. Subscribe to Our Newsletter

If you’d like to stay up-to-date on all of NYBCe’s upcoming educational opportunities, then we encourage you to sign up for the monthly NYBCe Education Resources newsletter. Likewise, if you have colleagues who may be interested, ask them to subscribe too.

This is the main way we share information about our upcoming events, so don’t miss out on an opportunity to learn about cutting-edge research and emerging topics in the fields of blood banking and transfusion medicine.

4. Share Information on Social Media

One of the ways we can showcase the value of our educational materials and have an impact on the fields of transfusion medicine and blood banking is simply by getting more people to attend our events. So, help us get the word out by sharing our upcoming events on social media!

Even if you are not in the field of transfusion medicine, you may know someone who is. Consider posting about NYBCe’s educational opportunities on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram so your colleagues know to attend.

5. Donate to NYBCe

Like other nonprofit organizations, NYBCe requires funding to support the educational materials we produce and share with others. So if you would like to support this part of our mission, one of the best ways to do so is to make a financial contribution.

Support NYBCe’s Professional Education

Ultimately, there are lots of ways you can support NYBCe’s mission to educate the next generation of leaders in transfusion medicine and blood banking.
