Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Blood and Laboratory Operations
Adrian serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Blood and Laboratory Operations for New York Blood Center Enterprises (NYBCe).
He joined NYBCe from Bristol-Myers Squibb where he spent over 19 years in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as Head of Cell Therapy Network Strategy. During his tenure at BMS, Adrian developed an expertise in operations and strategy applicable to manufacturing networks, supply chain, and product portfolio optimization. He led multiple high-impact, cross-functional projects resulting in simplified processes, increased throughput, and improved sustainability.
Adrian is passionate about harnessing the collective knowledge of teams and the power of new technologies to improve the patients’ experience.
He holds an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, and master’s degrees in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Business Administration. In his free time, Adrian enjoys cooking for friends and family and is an avid mountaineer and skier.
